The perfect introduction to those new to massage.
The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.
This massage stimulates soft tissue and is ideal for circulation improvement, shortening recovery time from muscular strain, stretching of ligaments and tendons, skin stimulation and has a soothing effect on the nervous system.
It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested as part of a regular stress management programme.
Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure and includes a variety of movements such as long strokes, kneading, frictions, vibrations and shaking motions that apply pressure between muscles and bones, massaging in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.
Totally relaxing.
This treatment begins with an aromatherapy foot bath, a consultation, followed by a full body Swedish massage.
To complete your massage, it is recommended that you take a few extra minutes to sit and relax and enjoy either a beautiful herbal tea or cool refreshing water.
Please allow 1.5 hours for your
treatment (massage 60 minutes).
